Surrounded by the rolling hills of the Upstate, with tree lined fairways and pristine lakes and streams, The Carolina Country Club offers a true test of golf in a beautiful, natural setting. The golf course, designed by Tom Jackson in 1984, is considered to be the best, most playable golf course in the Upstate. The par 72, 18-hole championship layout has been designed to delight golfers at all skill levels. With six sets of tees, the golf course is set up to challenge the highest level of player while still being fun and rewarding for those players with a higher handicap.

Our friendly and professional golf staff are here to assist before, during and after your round.

On June 18th, 2018 we began our Greens Re-Grassing Project. Original golf course designer, Tom Jackson, personally reshaped the greens in preparation for Champion Turf to spread and plant Champion Bermuda sprigs. After three months of hard work from our superb grounds crew, our course re-opened on September 14th, 2018 with brand new Champion Bermuda Greens!

Practice Makes Perfect

Whether you are working hard to improve your game or you just want to relax and clear your mind, the practice facility at The Carolina Country Club is just the ticket.  The oversized range provides ample space for every golfer while being secluded from the hustle and bustle of the daily activities of the club. Players can hit every club in the bag to a variety of predetermined target greens and the oversized grass teeing area ensures a great turf to hit from each day.
Along with the full practice range, the club also features a short game area designed especially for those handicap reducing shots.  The short game area includes two greenside bunkers and over 90 yards of fairway and rough to practice wedge shots to the green.

Golf Accolades

“I love Carolina CC because of the peaceful family atmosphere. The golf course is challenging to the low handicap players but doesn’t beat up the higher handicappers. It’s truly a fun course to play.”

“The Carolina Country Club is a great place for me to practice and play when I am at home.  The practice facility is outstanding and I enjoy the short game area.  I love the shape of the holes as I can work the ball both left and right. The course is challenging but fair and very playable for everyone.  The members are so friendly and welcoming and the staff is always professional, courteous and knowledgeable.”
